Now Top record opium poppy cultivation in afganistan reached a record high in 2014,a united nations news revealed wednesday,highlighting the failure of the multi billion dollar us lead campaign to crack downon the lucrative crop.The total area under cultivation was about 224,000 hectares in 2014 ,a seven percent increase in the last year,according to the afganistan opium survey released by the united nations office on drugs and crime.
